Summer of a Million Meals is aiming to raise donations and awareness of hunger during summer months, when school isn't in session. During this time, families are especially in need of food. United Food Bank has partnered with 12 News and Fry's Food Stores to help solve this problem. There will be 3 telethons this year:
June 4 (completed and was a huge success)
July 16
September 3
People can share on social media, donate at the register of any East Valley Fry's Food Store or at www.azmillionmeals.org, and add Summer of a Million Meals to their email signatures to show support.
