We are looking for a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who is in good standing with AZBBHE. We are rapidly growing and are looking for a counselor that wants to join a dynamic team of professionals with a commitment to providing quality mental health care to our community.

Dynamis Counseling is looking for a LAC to work with clients in our Mesa location and via telehealth. You will have access to clinical and administrative supervision included in your contract. You will be working with a team of professionals that includes an independently licensed professional counselor and operations manager with 25 years of experience in mental health. We believe in letting each professional do their part in helping each client ultimately succeed in a safe and effective manner.

This position will be an independent contractor but will utilize and benefit from office space, EHR, billing support, clinical supervision, administrative support, etc. Therapists will benefit from working in a group practice environment while learning and growing with other therapists and professionals.

Contract description:

This contract will outline 18-20 direct client hours weekly with the expectation that onboarding can be slow if necessary. Meaning, as a candidate is transitioning into their contract, new clients will be added in groups of 3-5 per week until this contractor has reached the 18-20 required hours or their desired caseload.

This contractor is eligible to maintain a caseload higher than 18-20 sessions weekly.

Experience

· Counseling: 1 year (preferred) and minimum licensure requirement of LAC

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing patients’ emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans to meet them
• Asking questions and listening to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings
• Leading patients through evidence based interventions
• Consistent and ongoing 1:1, Group, Couples or Family counseling sessions and advising patients on issues of importance to them
• Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis (as needed)
• Providing referrals for additional care or services when required
• Maintaining detailed confidential records
• Participating in clinical supervision and keeping track of your direct contact hours

Hybrid role available

Job Type: Contract

Wages: $40.00 - $45.00 per billed session, DOE and supervision requirements.

Schedule: You choose your own schedule as an independent contractor. Our office is currently open and accessible to this contractor during the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday.

Work Location: Mesa Office Location (54 S Center St) and Telehealth (in confidential area).
