What is the Mesa Book Festival?
The Mesa Book Festival is a one day fun, free and engaging literary celebration that happens on the campus of Benedictine University at Mesa. Featuring book readings for kids around a Holiday Tree, over 20 sessions of panels and presentations for readers, writers and anyone that loves the litary arts.
We bring a wide selection of Independent authors, small presses, book sellers and others together in one place for you to explore. Over 50 authors for you to meet and engage with. These are new books, written by our local authors, looking to connect with you.
Find your next favorite read among the community of talented writers right here in the Valley.
The Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators helps us curate a fantastic lineup of readers each year to read to the kids. Everyone from the Mayor to some of the hottest names in Arizona's childrens writer's community, let your kids be taken to new places of imagination and celebration.
The Festival offers tracks of panels for those looking to engage their inner writer, people that just love talking about books and people that love the literary lifestyle. We are excited to bring over 30 hours of programming to you over the course of the day. We'll be sure to post the complete schedule here.
Whether it's the food trucks on site, or one of downtown Mesa's great restaurants, you can catch a culinary break during the day. The Attending Info Page will have all the details on where the best eats are.
