The National Civics Bee strengthens civic knowledge, skills, and engagement among young Americans, as well as their families and communities. Open to middle school students in grades 6th-8th, the competition challenges participants to showcase their understanding of civics for a chance to earn recognition and cash prizes. Through partnerships with chambers of commerce and organizations nationwide, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosts Regional and State Bees that advance to higher levels of competition.
We believe a strong nation, economy, and workforce all depend on citizens who are informed and actively engaged. The National Civics Bee helps build that foundation by encouraging civic knowledge and participation nationwide, while bringing communities together to celebrate civic pride.
