MESA, AZ — This Easter season, immerse yourself in Jesus the Christ: The Mesa Easter Pageant, an awe-inspiring outdoor musical celebration of the life, ministry, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As the largest annual outdoor Easter pageant in the world, this beloved 87-year tradition draws nearly 100,000 attendees from diverse faiths every year.
When: Wednesday, March 25 – Saturday, April 4 (except Sunday and Monday).
Performances are free of charge and begin at 8 p.m.
Where: North lawn of the Mesa Arizona Temple, 525 E. Main St., downtown Mesa, AZ.
Through vibrant musical dance theater and a cast of close to 500 performers on a massive stage, Jesus the Christ depicts the powerful and poignant moments of the life of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament - from His humble birth, His miracles, ministry and teachings, to His crucifixion on the cross, and glorious resurrection.
This family-friendly production comes to life with beautiful messages of hope and the love of Jesus Christ and is a gift to the community from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The soundtrack, composed and produced by local composer Rob Gardner and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and Spire Chorus, is available on all major audio streaming services.
