About i.d.e.a Museum:

The i.d.e.a. Museum inspires over 90,000 children of all ages to experience their world differently through art, creativity and imagination annually. This is accomplished through art exhibitions and STEAM activities focused on supporting early learning, nurturing creative thinking and engaging families. The Museum has over 20,000 feet of interactive exhibition spaces:

· The Whiteman Family Exhibition Gallery – showcases a variety of world-class art exhibitions each year that incorporate hands-on STEAM activities inspired by the art on view.

· HUB Gallery - is designed for diverse STEAM experiences leading the explorer to one’s own imagination through collaborative making, spontaneous creation, full-body movement, problem-solving, design-thinking and inspiration.

· ArtVille – is an engaging larger-than-life ‘art town’ designed with the unique requirements of children birth to age 4. Young crawlers to curious toddlers will interact in a town built to cultivate exploration, imagination and creative expression. This encourages social-emotional and language development and other key developmental milestones.

The i.d.e.a. Museum is a City of Mesa museum, with a nonprofit 501(c)3 support organization, the i.d.e.a. Museum Foundation whose mission is to provide sustainable resources to fulfill the i.d.e.a. Museum's mission through fundraising, advocacy and partnerships.

About Bobby-Q:

Bobby-Q opened in 2005 at the former site of Bobby McGee's, offering a culmination of barbeque favorites. In addition to their extensive barbecue research mixed with culinary expertise, the secret behind Bobby-Q's barbeque lies within the slow cooking process over Tennessee hickory wood paired with the perfect blend of spices found in the special dry rub for the meat, as executed by barbeque master, Executive Chef Mark Hittle. This results in succulent hand-pulled pork, smoky sausage links, fork-tender brisket, and ribs that fall right off the bone. Bobby-Q is sure to offer barbecue fare unlike any other. The starters will wet your appetite and the desserts will satiate your sweet-tooth cravings, but the barbecue is the showstopper.

Pro Tip:

A great way to build legitimacy with your new Taste of Mesa contacts is to send them a follow up email the next day. Show them that you were interested in their business and who they are, and you'll start a great dialogue.

The Big Prize Amount: $100

Businesses in good standing with their Chamber membership are entered into a drawing each month to win The Big Prize. Members may sponsor the Big Prize ($100) and in doing so will be the emcee for the evening's program. One member's name is drawn, and if that member has an attendee at the event, the member business wins the complete pot of money. If the drawn business is not present, the $ rolls over to the next month and increases by the next sponsor's $100. To sponsor The Big Prize, email Sherry Eklund.
