Produced by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, "Mesa Morning Live" is a quarterly morning talk show that discusses a variety of topics with entertaining interviews by our host, Forrest Smith. The show features a diverse lineup of local, state and national guests including community leaders, politicians, celebrities, athletes, local businessmen and women, and more.

A regular segment each month is the highly anticipated "Top Ten" which includes humorous topics such as "Top Ten Ways to Balance Arizona's Budget", "Top Ten ways to avoid weight gain over the Holidays", or simply based on current events. The result is a one-of-its-kind humorous yet informative program televised for the entire community on Mesa's Channel 11.

Richard Daniel, Ph.D., was appointed President of Mesa Community College, the largest of the 10 colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD), effective July 1, 2024.

From November 2022 through June 2024, Dr. Daniel was President of South Mountain Community College (SMCC), one of the most diverse colleges in MCCCD. During his 20-month tenure there, SMCC saw a historic 30 percent surge in enrollment of new students. This enrollment growth was supported by Dr. Daniel's efforts to embed advisors at each SMCC feeder high school; intentional outreach to charter and alternative high schools; and summer and STEM camps that introduced high school students to the college experience.
