Join us for our September MYP Mixer at none other than the Mesa HoHokams. The evening will be filled with networking opportunities, games, raffle prizes, food, and drinks.

Additionally, the group will learn more about the role and impact of the Mesa Hohokams. This will include a brief history, an overview of the application process, and the many perks or rewards of being a Ho.

Furthermore, MYP will receive a visit from Mesa Hohokam past grant recipients, including the YMCA, Skyline Baseball, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

About MYP 

MYP is a group for up-and-coming business professionals ages 21-40. The mission of MYP is to empower talented young people in Mesa by bringing together dynamic young professionals across the city. The MYP group exists with goals of building relationships, fostering growth, as well as philanthropic involvement in the community. 

About the Mesa Hohokams

”The Mesa HoHoKams” are a group of civic volunteers dedicated to Major League Baseball Spring Training in Mesa, Arizona and to raising funds for local charities and kids’ sports in the East Valley.

In 2001, the HoHoKams established the Mesa HoHoKam Foundation, a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization, to be the group’s investing and fund granting wing.

Today, the HoHoKams host MLB Spring Training for the Chicago Cubs at Sloan Park in Mesa and for the Oakland Athletics at HoHoKam Stadium in Mesa. They operate a charitable 50/50 Raffle at each Spring Training game at Sloan Park & HoHoKam Stadium , with the proceeds going to local youth organizations and charities.
