Community Action Partnership Welcomes Chantal Carr of Disruptive Giving

Community Action Partnership Welcomes Chantal Carr of Disruptive Giving
Tuesday, July 8, 2025 (3:30 PM - 4:30 PM) (MST)
Description
Philanthropy is broken—but we can fix it. At this month’s Community Action Partnership, Chantal Carr will introduce the Disruptive Giving® model: a bold, practical shift from grant dependency to self-sustaining revenue. Drawing from decades of work in Africa, she’ll share how nonprofit leaders can build economic engines that outlast the budget cycle—and how business leaders can partner in ways that create lasting local impact.
Attendees will be invited to join the FIRES Cohort, a hands-on program for nonprofit leaders ready to break free from survival mode and build a regenerative funding model tailored to their mission.
Chantal Carr is the Founder of Disruptive Giving and Executive Director of Hope Arising. With over two decades in the social sector, she is reshaping the way nonprofits think about funding, growth, and dignity. Her 11-year pilot in Ethiopia helped pioneer a new model of giving—one that prioritizes revenue-generating flywheels, grassroots ownership, and long-term sustainability over one-time donations. Chantal’s work equips both donors and nonprofit leaders to replace burnout with momentum, and charity with strategic impact.
