The Mesa Historical Museum is currently seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to assist at our front desk.

We are especially looking for help on Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Volunteers may sign up for the full shift or a half shift (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM). Additional days may open in the future as volunteer schedules change. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Front desk volunteers help create a welcoming experience for visitors while supporting admissions and operations for both the Mesa Historical Museum and the Arizona Baseball Museum. All guests check in and purchase admission at the Mesa Historical Museum front desk before visiting either museum, so this role is key in helping orient visitors and getting them started on their visit.

Volunteer duties may include:

• Greeting visitors and assisting with admissions

• Processing gift shop purchases

• Answering phone calls and general questions

• Helping direct guests through the museum campus

• Keeping an eye on the front desk and gallery areas
