Merchandiser / Driver Assistant

Mather Bros is seeking a dedicated and physically active Merchandiser / Driver Assistant to support daily delivery operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with drivers to unload and merchandise products, navigate delivery sites, and provide professional customer service. This is a high-energy position for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a fast-moving team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist drivers with the safe maneuvering and parking of delivery vehicles
• Unload and stack ice and water products according to customer and company standards
• Use pallet jacks and equipment to move product safely
• Help maintain a professional and organized delivery process
• Provide courteous, professional onsite customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays during peak season
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Previous warehouse or pallet jack experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required

Physical demands

• Frequent lifting of 40+ lb products
• Ability to move 700–1,000 lbs. of product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to work physically demanding 8–10 hour shifts
• Frequent climbing in and out of passenger and cargo areas throughout the day
