CHANDLER, Arizona -  In a continued effort to increase its community impact, FC Arizona has entered into partnership with the American Lung Association in Arizona.  The Lung Association will take part in FC Arizona’s NPSL home opener to raise community awareness of lung health. In similar fashion, FC Arizona will be taking part in their Fight for Air Climb on April 7th to support the Lung Association’s efforts and promote the upcoming 2023 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL)  and United Women’s Soccer (UWS) season.

The American Lung Association saves lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Founded over 115 years ago, the Lung Association continues to invest its time and resources to end lung diseases including lung cancer, COPD, asthma, and more. “We’re honored to work with FC Arizona to raise awareness and inspire action in our community,” said Kristen Miraglia of the Lung Association in Arizona. “We have great work ahead of us as the Metro-Phoenix area ranks among the worst in the nation for air quality and lags behind in early detection of lung cancer, the country’s number one cancer killer.”

Jamie Landreman, owner of FC Arizona, said about the new partnership: “I am extremely delighted to be a part of this; we’ve headed in the right direction adding the American Lung Association to our list of partners. As we continue to grow as a club and really place an emphasis on the community, I find that it is important that we focus on the future of our kids and the legacy we will leave behind for them.” Landreman was quoted last month talking about FC Arizona's vision to be more than a club and provide resources to the kids (community); true to his word, the partnership between FC Arizona and the American Lung Association will be just that. The Lung Association will be sending information regarding lung health to FC Arizona families informing them of current studies and what they can do to help protect themselves and their communities.
