MCC hosts the Fashion Collective Spring Fashion Show
MESA, Arizona -- April 30, 2025 -- Mesa Community College invites the community to “The MCC Fashion Collective,” 6 p.m., May 2, in the
. Free and open to the public, the event features over 80 original designs by MCC Fashion Program students.“Our students are the driving force behind everything we do,” said MCC Fashion Design Occupational Program Director Kimberly Broxham. “This show is a celebration of their creativity, craftsmanship, and collaboration. From sketch to stitch to stage, they’ve poured their skills into every detail on the runway and behind the scenes. It’s real experience that fuels real futures in fashion.”
MCC’s fashion design students recently showcased their sustainable denim outfits at the Mesa Fashion Forward Sustainability Fashion Show presented by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce at Superstition Springs Mall (JCPenney Court) on April 26.
Unlike many fashion programs, MCC welcomes individuals interested in learning specific skills, such as draping or sewing and those interested in earning a certificate of completion or an Associate in Applied Science degree.
