Open House Set for January 16 at MCC Red Mountain Campus

MESA, Arizona — January 13, 2026 — New Frontiers for Lifelong Learning (NFLL), a Mesa Community College (MCC) program for active adult learners, invites the public to its Open House on Friday, January 16, from 1–3 p.m. at MCC’s Red Mountain Campus, 7110 E. McKellips Road in Mesa. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet current members, explore spring class offerings and register for the upcoming semester. The event is free and open to the public.

With over 200 active participants, NFLL is dedicated to providing learning activities that encourage intellectual growth, promote social interaction and enhance wellness and health. Volunteers from the community provide classes, discussion groups, social outings and field trips. Interest groups such as book clubs, hiking, biking and walking groups are also offered. Classes are available online, at MCC campuses and a variety of East Valley locations. Spring classes start February 2, 2026.

A single annual membership fee of $80 provides access to all NFLL offerings for a full year, August through July. In addition to intellectual engagement, members often report improved social connection, increased well-being, and new friendships formed through shared interests.
